I wanted to test dropshipping. My entrepreneurial skills and my knowledge in sales and marketing helped me to scale the business very quick to a profitable state.

The reason of selling this business

I'm loosing the focus on my main business. It's quite a hard decision to sell the store as it works so well and the upside is huge but I've made the decision to fully focus on one thing.

What's involved in running this business

The best part of this company is that you can run it from anywhere with only a laptop. You're the middleman between suppliers and customers. Your skills in customer service and order management will be key.

  • Customer support: Usually 3-5 Requests per day. The product is super high-quality. Most requests are concerning the delivery time.

  • Supplier communication: New products need to be ordered from my contact in China when the stock is about to expire. We are already in good sync that this can be covered with my templates.

  • Performance marketing management: Usually every 2-3 weeks some adjustments need to be made to the advertising. I'll teach you about my strategies about the ads.

  • Researching and launching new products (a list with potential products will be provided). This is only needed if you want to scale up the store (which I highly recommend!)

    How to grow this business

    1. The number of products in the store is very limited. As I already collected a significant number of customer mails I would use this audience to sell other outdoor and survival related products.

    2. I'm just using Facebook. There is a huge potential in leveraging Google (SEA+SEO), Youtube Ads and TikTok. The products are very convenient for visuals as they have a great "wow" factor.

    3. Social Media and Influencers. I know many influencers who could help to grow the products on Instagram and TikTok.

    4. Economies of scale. I have already a great contact for private label and a warehouse in Germany to ship from there.
