Being a product photographer myself, I have learned what a battle it is to find props. That's when I decided to start a store where others can come and buy their props and backdrops from. It has honestly taken off much bigger than I thought it would ever become
The reason of selling this business
Time is not a luxury I have, working full time too. The store can do so much more with someone that can dedicate more time to it. I would rather sell the business than hold it back from it's potential Our April turnover was $32000 AUD ($22500 USD)
What's involved in running this business
We have recently started using a shipping agent in China that gets all the parcels from the suppliers in one place, they inspect and repack the orders into our own custom packaging and then send it off in one parcel. That has taken a lot of hassle out of it. So as for running the shop you correspond with them via Skype chat. They update the tracking numbers in shopify and I answer emails. I also load new products as new things become popular and seasons change
