Tailored Titans was started to meet the needs of a niche customer, bodybuilders. There are a very limited number of brands that a bodybuilder can choose when wanting to buy button-down shirts, with no other options for perfectly fitting (custom) shirts.

The brands that cater to the general fitness community don't take into account the vast differences between each individual bodybuilder, hence a custom shirt platform was developed based on the customers sizing in 4 areas of the body (height, pant size, chest size and bicep). The result is a custom fitting shirt with very minimal effort on the customers part since they use commonly known measurements, with the included custom shirt algorithm working out 10 shirt measurements from this input (refer to photos for an example of this output).

Our team run multiple businesses, and we have seen exponential growth in one of our businesses which has now taken up a majority of our focus. Because of this, we have been unable to allocate the needed resources to build upon Tailored Titans success.

We have seen Tailored Titans grow into a well-known and respected brand in the bodybuilding industry, which is a tight-knit community of passionate individuals. Since we’re unable to allocate the appropriate resources to furthering this development, we would rather see the brand continue to build upon this reputation with a new owner.

Tailored Titans is modelled on a very lean business model which is easy to run. The button-down shirts and apparel are all custom made, resulting in no inventory holding cost. We have built a strong relationship with our custom made to measure shirt supplier as well as a custom apparel manufacturer.

Included in the sale is our proprietary custom shirting algorithm, which outputs all measurements required for a custom, perfectly fitting shirt. Using the customer’s order form, the options selected (height, pant size, chest and bicep) are input into a spreadsheet which has been developed with a proprietary custom shirting algorithm. This algorithm uses the above inputs from a customer’s order and outputs 10 shirt measurements which are needed to create a custom (made-to-measure) button down shirt. These measurements are: Collar Width, Sleeve Length, Yoke Width, Chest Width, Midsection Width, Shirt Length, Sleeve Width, Left Cuff Around, Right Cuff Around, Bottom Width (refer to photos for an example of this output).

These measurements are then added to the customer’s order form, which is submitted to our made-to-measure supplier for processing. The result is a perfect fitting shirt which is sent directly to the customer (no inventory handling). We have established a strong relationship with our made-to-measure shirt supplier; however the buyer can implement shared sourcing/a new supplier quite easily using the custom shirt algorithm outputs. Noting that our current supplier has ~500 custom Tailored Titans shipping boxes in their warehouse, which can be used or sent to another preferred supplier in future.

The custom button-down shirts are created in ~8 business days and are sent directly to the customer from our supplier, meaning there is no product handling, growth is not limited to warehouse space/holding cost and the business can be operated remotely from anywhere in the world.

Since the above fulfillment process is quite simple and there's no inventory holding cost, marketing would be the main focus area for this business. To improve on this, we would suggest building upon the current brand ambassador program with well-known bodybuilders, creating more video content, continuing to post blog posts/eBooks, and re-marketing campaigns on social media.

We would increase marketing reach and organise some minor improvements to the website. These improvements include: - Studio photos of the shirts being worn by a bodybuilder: - We currently have stock photography of the custom shirts, however the buying experience can be improved with a studio photoshoot with a model (bodybuilder) wearing the shirts - More video content which emphasizes the custom nature of the shirts (fits anyone) - Build upon the success of our feature video available on our homepage, showcasing the custom fit nature of the shirts - Establish freight forwarder or use your DHL/Shipper account since freight cost to customer using the shirt suppliers DHL account is high - Build upon the current brand ambassador program, enlisting more well-known bodybuilders to wear the brand - Contacting and building upon the trust within the bodybuilding industry, being known as the brand of choice for shirts for bodybuilders. Our ambassadors/supporters currently include: Dennis James, Milos Sarcev, Hidetada Yamagishi, Viet Doan and Ali Raza (all IFBB Professional Bodybuilders) among others. The brand is also followed by many influential (200k - 1mil follower) bodybuilders. Having this support from well-known bodybuilders increases trust and reputation within the bodybuilding industry. The brand has been featured at IFBB Pro League events and is worn to Mr Olympia & The Arnold's Sport Festivals by brand ambassadors (TV and social media coverage) - Automate custom shirt ordering process using Zapier/similar (algorithm currently in Excel spreadsheet) - Making this change will reduce order processing time, leading to an improved allocation of resources for business growth, however not essential as the current process is streamlined

The business is essentially plug and play, while offering a customised product line with no inventory holding costs. With all the intellectual property (custom shirt algorithm, photography, eBooks, social media accounts, articles etc) included in the purchase, no tailoring/fashion experience is needed.

You will be provided with support after purchase to go through the workflows when purchases are made and we will introduce the new owner as the point of contact with suppliers.

As with any e-commerce site, improved marketing will benefit the brand and result in exponential growth. The buyer/team should have some knowledge of the use of Microsoft Excel for preparing order forms to the custom shirt supplier. Online marketing expertise is also favourable to help grow the business.
